Sand on path to river (ALF is really in Sauk County -- there's no actual county named "Sand County." Sauk County is one of several Wisconsin counties collectively known as "the sand counties" because of the sandy soil deposited when Glacial Lake Wisconsin catastrophically drained at the end of the last Ice Age.)
